Common Questions

How do I sign up for a class?

Signup for classes happens on the studio’s website—not mine. When you click the “Book A Class” button above, it will send you to that location's signup page. Find my class on the schedule and enter your information there. Many studios have the option to filter by “Instructor”, so you can click my name, Rebekah Davis, from the dropdown to find my class more easily.

What if I’ve never practiced yoga before or am a beginner?

My classes are suitable for people of all skill levels. I always invite students to make the class work for them—feel free to skip or modify poses to fit what you and your body need. I find that most of the magic comes less from being able to perform every posture perfectly and more from creating an intentional space in your day to breathe, move, and strengthen the connection between your body and mind.

What should I wear?

Comfortable clothing that you can move in that also won’t slip as you move. Tank tops, leggings, t-shirts, shorts, or joggers are all appropriate. Also, the practice is typically done barefoot.
